In 2024, III Europe's work is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the City of the Hague. III Europe raises funds by applying to public and private agencies or foundations for financial support. It also seeks donations and sponsorships from private individuals as well as corporate partners.
III Europe keeps records of all gifts, donations, and assets according to recognised accounting standards. We will prepare the financial statements within six months after the end of the financial year (which runs from 1 January to 31 December). These financial statements shall also be published on III Europe's website. III Europe was founded in November 2023 and has extended its 2023 financial year to the end of December 2024. We will publish our total income and expenditure upon completion of our first financial year.
The funds received are used solely for the implementation of III Europe's objectives. The majority of the raised funds support our work towards the establishment of an International Anti-Corruption Court and any additional funds will support initiatives aligned with III Europe’s objectives. Board members of III Europe do not receive any stated salaries. They might be entitled to reimbursement of the expenses incurred by them in the performance of their duties with due observance of the ANBI requirements. Our Managing Directors' annual salary falls below the maximum level foreseen in the beloningsregeling van goede doelen in the Netherlands.
